Our communities are impacted by several military installations from every branch of the Armed Forces and a significant number of our local families have loved ones serving in the war. The Minutes for Military Program is designed to afford deployed personnel and their families a free call home. Whether they are checking in, sending birthday wishes, or simply need to hear a familiar voice, BBB is proud to provide a free prepaid calling card when they need it most.
When possible, along with providing calling cards, Minutes for the Military works with local schools to prepare and send thank you letters and care packages to deployed military personnel. Correspondence between students and deployed troops is an effective and fun way for the community to show its support and raise awareness.
